Just read this story on CNN news, horrific and outrageous are two words that spring to mind, heres a little snippet of the piece along with a link

Kabul, Afghanistan (CNN) --
A shot rings out, but the burqa-clad woman sitting on the rocky ground does not respond.
The man pointing a rifle at her from a few feet away lets loose another round, but still there is no reaction.
He fires a third shot, and finally the woman slumps backwards.
But the man fires another shot.
And another. And another.
Nine shots in all.
Around him, dozens of men on a hillside cheer: "God is great!"

It is revolting. I was going to say bestial but do animals stoop so low?

There is also a scary lesson to be had. How easy it seems to be to take a whole people and strip from them the things that we often feel make us human.

Very sorry for the poor woman and all who live under the fear of such treatment.

Its not about religion its about power. In some countries one sex has it over another. In some one race has it over another and in some countries some religions have it over another. The common theme is one group trying to keep power in their hands and make sure it doesnt get diluted. Some countries kill to keep it as in the story mentioned. In other countries they rig the system like in the one party system in China and the two party system in America.

Its always about power and not race, religion, sex, sexuality, political system. They are just the ways power has been split through history. Dont see the fake arguement of race, religion, sex, sexuality, political system and see the truth. There are always the same two groups. Those who have power and those who do not.
