    studied it from 5-18 and also went to irish college twice & i could barely string a sentence together.

    Asked loads of people I know who speak multiple languages and none of them said it was particularly hard.
    The problem with irish is the way it is taught.Writing letters etc when they should be just speaking it in class from the outset.

    all Irish teachers are dickheads old miserable fuckers who make the language so unlikeable and the constant writting aswell when the fuck are you going to write an 10 page Irish essay ever in your fucking life it should be like 80% oral exam its terrible the way they teach it and they should make going to gaeltachs compulsory the only bit of useful Irish I learned was there
