I once lent a girl a substantial sum of money to get her out of a pickle. We actually had what I thought was a good friendship. Well, in the rare occasions I do lend money, I would usually approach them and ask for it back...?

I wouldn't lend money to someone I didn't know that well either, whether I have shagged them or not. Of course a lot of ladies have a lovely smile and a peachy bottom, but if I don't know them, I wouldn't lend them any money. I did exactly that a few months ago and got fobbed off with this happened, and that happened, and promises of it being given back at a certain time, which of course never happened!! After my patience finally wore out I lost the plot with this Escort and finally got my money back. A very hard lesson learned and one that will never be repeated!

It sounds like your mind is made up about what you want to do, otherwise you wouldn't be rationalising why you wouldn't take the advice. The choice is yours to make, and if people can not be made aware of the circumstances, their advice is invalid anyway.
