This happened just recently.
I have just arrived to the apartment and i broke the front key. (But managed to get in anyway) Than I did not remember if i locked the car or not, but i could not go out to check it as i did not have key to the entrance anymore, no way coming back..

Oh my god the car has been stolen!! Than he said: do you aware that on the key it says Nissan?? Well.. i don’t know anything about it, but it’s a white Yaris parked on the corner. He said yes, but the key is Toyota, and actually there is only one car on the corner, i parked beside it, and that is a Nissan Micra. Well.. try it that one than. Click click, yes that’s the car.. I hired that car little over 1 month than and i was 100% sure it was a Yaris, never looked at the key or back of the car.. Poor guy was walking around in the rain looking for a Yaris..
