Toutbots: What are they?

I suggest that toutbots are programs that roam around E-I, who's only purpose is to tout. Whether it be repeated thread starting with an escort's name over incredibly mundane nonsense or endlessly placing tongue in ass crack mid-thread for whatever reason.

After reading so much inanity in that regards I've started to wonder if maybe some of the posters on here are not just bots. Kinda like that infection of automated shit that sunk 'Yahoo Chat!' back along. I've noticed a distinct lack of personality in most of these repeated touters, ergo my question.

I posit that the Turing test would now show up these touters to be nothing more than automatons, regardless of their genetic makeup.


In short, I've seen computer programs that demonstrate more intellect than a large proportion of the posters on E-I.

I was thinking that it might have been this but was like, nah, couldn't be, it's prolly something French and computery and not actually the English word "tout" like we are accustomed to on escort forums.

I've been looking for a word to encapsulate the character and the feelings they generated for a while now. Couldn't find one surprisingly.
