    Default 20 years of Playstation

This month marks the 20th anniversary of the Sony Playstation! It was released in Japan on 3rd December 1994, later released in September 1995 in North America and Europe.

It's hard to believe that the PS is 20 years old, and we have seen the console evolve so much:

I was working for Currys when the Playstation was first launched, and I saved up for months to buy the console with a memory card, along with 'Tomb Raider (featuring Lara Croft)' and 'Resident Evil'.

Resident Evil has always been one of my favourite Playstation games, along with Final Fantasy VII, a turn based battle game.

What are your favourite Playstation games/memories?

I'm nearly 48 and never had a playstation or equivalent.

Only recently thought perhaps this Christmas I'll treat myself.
Or maybe it's just a waste of time.

Dunno, with the new ban looming on my current hobby, perhaps I need to explore something new to occupy my time.

I really like survival horror and Resident Evil was great, but Silent Hill has to be favourite PS game. Played it again recently on the PS3, and enjoyed it just as much as I did the first time. Proper creepy.

Tekken, Tomb Raider, Resident Evil, Soul Edge and Wipeout 2097. Especially Wipeout 2097 though, they got it right with that one and it hasn't been beaten yet. I still play it on PC emulators.

bingo, half of it was about the killer soundtrack though that said flying in one of the fast ones when you went through one of the turbo rings/gates and controlling it full speed without crashing for over 15 seconds was a high that needed to be experienced to be believed, Im sure it would be illegal in a number of states
