    Default Capital One Cup

    League Cup semi-final draw
    Liverpool v Chelsea
    Tottenham v Sheffield United

First legs: w/c 19 January; Second legs: w/c 26 January

The odds are that there will be an all London Final in March as on current form I cant see Liverpool or Sheffield Utd winning their ties.

If Liverpool can add another striker before the 1st leg they have the team to cause Chelsea problems if they can get a run of form going

Yeah, Liverpool well on top for long periods in the first half. Plenty of chances just can't break down the Chelsea defence.

Very silly penalty to give away.

If Liverpool get that many chances in the second half surely they have to score!!

Lucas was immense tonight and was unlucky not to get the man of the match although taking nothing away from Courtois.
All to play for in the second leg.The game was every bit as good as Spurs Chelsea without the goals.

OK so after the first legs of the semi finals its still all to play for. I think with home advantage in the second leg that Chelsea will win their tie though maybe only by one goal. The other semi is harder to call. Sheffield Utd have had a good record in cup competitions over the last 12 months so they may just get the better of Spurs at home. My prediction is for a Chelsea-Sheffield Utd Final in March.
