Default Unexpected events on Christmas Day

Were fed this sort of magical Christmas with adverts and TV programmes...but it doesn't always go to plan.

Have spent Christmas stuck on a runway for 5 hours as they tried to de-ice the plane..oh what fun...eventually got home on St Stephens Day only to fly back a day later.

One Christmas, worked such long hours, buy the time I drove to my parents home, we immediately fell asleep, were only woken on Christmas Day to eat and went back to sleep until it was time to drive home Stephens night.

When I was a student...I got shocking toothache in my back tooth night before Christmas Eve and couldn't find a dentist to see me at such short notice. Went home to my folks but could hardly talk or eat. Was woken Christmas morning by my mum, who told me to go to next door neighbours. Went into the neighbours kitchen and over the sink the guy pulled my tooth out !......(the neighbour fortunately was a dentist)
Come in she said "I'll give you shelter from the storm "
