Okay, we have all been wondering when this new law to criminalise the purchase of sex would be in effect, and we now know the details.

In Northern Ireland, from 1st June 2015, it will become a criminal offence to pay for sexual services. "Clause 15", formally known as "Clause 6", will:

It will be interesting to see what effect this will have on the escorts who are based in the north. If there is a noticeable percentage of the girls moving down south it will be an indication that the law is being applied and that the punters are being scared off. However, I think that the PSNI will only mount operations if they suspect that particular escorts are trafficked.

So if I'm outside the apartment ie not in the physical presence of a seller, they can bolt if they start asking where I was or what I was doing?
