Reminds me of when I was a teenager and I'd go door to door carol singing with a friend. We always did well with this one and after we'd go get a fish and chip supper with the proceeds. We were honest and did say what we would do with the money, so it was never promised to a charity. Sometimes we'd get mince pies given us as well.
