I don't think we are hiding form them

Anyone who copped that call was a punter or escort, I doubt either would ring the Garda to tell them a man off for a shag

I'd say something in a hall way of the complex but otherwise no one but a punter would notice or care really
I was actually thinking of a neighbour overhearing and getting on the either the landlord or management company. The chances are that the lady in question was not doing anything illegal so the Gardaν would not be an issue.

My concern would be if the lady actually lived there, not someone who toured and could just move on and the management company found out because her neighbours reported her. This could make her life very difficult.

Reminds of a tricky situation I was in a good few months back in D18 when my intended was delayed and I was trying to kill some time. Strolled in to a nearby shop and while standing in the queue the cheap phone I use on these occassions rings and stupidly I answer only to hear an excited female voice "I'M READY NOW YOU CAN COME OVER". The woman in the queue in front of me turns around, gives me a filthy look and I end strolling out of the shop mumbling my best in prov in to the phone, "eh sorry bad line, can't hear ya...eh I'll just go outside".

Moral of the story, NEVER answer your phone in close proximity to otherpeople or confined spaces etc etc.

Sounds embarrassing but at least the ladies neighbours didn't hear her address

Sounds a bit like a Dom Joly sketch.

LOL - to be fair he wasn't quite as extreme as Dom Joly but yeah - there was a resemblance

I seriously doubt that she knew he had her on speaker phone - this is one of the reasons I posted this thread.

Earlier today I was over in Sandyford and as I was walking through I saw this guy with the phone. Nothing really unusual there until I realised he was on speakerphone looking for directions to an apartment.

To make matters worse I was quite a distance away from him and I could hear everything but there were also some other people closer to him than I was so they could definitely hear him.

Discretion is the key factor here, but to go around with a phone on speaker while looking for directions is ludicrous!

If any of the ladies in Sandyford had an appointment today around midday and had to give directions to the client they may want to think about who they had seen. Obviously I am not going to say which apartment block he was told to go to but let's just say, there were other people heading for the same apartment block at that time.

To be honest darling I'm not surprised !! I've seen guys walking around on their phones like lost souls, and have heard them repeating apt nos and entry codes, but never on speaker phone it's unbelievable..
I wouldn't be happy for one of my dates to act like this. You never know who's listening and would hate to think one of my neighbours might hear my details being discussed, discretion is everything, seriously some guys need to show more consideration for the girls.
from experience, Punters will guess perfectly what's going on if they see this kind of behaviour!
Thanks for sharing this with us Petros
Im sure many of you guys will never do this
