No its not. If you make an appointment and you have to cancel (unexpected things do happen occasionally ..as you know Marsha !), its only right and good manners to cancel it as soon as you know its not going to happen...if someone doesn't confirm, then its not an appointment.
Good to see you back Marsha

I don't get these guys that can't be bothered to just take one min to ring or text to say they can't make it on the day and just leave the lady waiting and wasting her time it just shows utter disrespect. Once i send that pm confirming a day and a time then that appointment happens and on the day i would ring or text at least an hour before hand for final confirmation and sometimes i send a text a few mins before i get there just to let her know that i'm on my way.

If you tell the guy that he must confirm at a certain time or the appointment is cancelled then it is the same as canceling by your own rules. But, you could say it is rude for him not to let you know; Definitely.

My opinion, it is not the same. Of course no confirmation beforehand till a certain time and i won’t keep the booking, that is obvious, no harm done than.
But i think it is just rude just leave it like that. Especially those bookings made in a proper way, in advance, with pm.
It is not time wasting but not cancelling either.

    What is your opinion?

Surely it only takes a few seconds to send a text ?

I usually book well in advance to be sure I get the time slot I want with the lady I want and usually the ones I want to see are popular. I have never stood a lady up but on the rare occasion have had to cancel but always sent a text to let her know, its just basic respect for her time and manners as well.

If its someone I don't know well I will usually confirm even if they don't ask me to just for their peace of mind.

No, for me......if someone completely ignores my confirm text and doesn't cancel then they are a timewaster and instantly go on my block list x
