It will only ever be a problem when demand exceeds supply, from my point of view anyway.
From the Escorts point of view,I don't think it matters to the girls how many others are active as long as they get their market share. if they are losing market share then they will need to look at their business model and either, move to a better trading area, improve their offer ie more favs offered/ better interaction with client or some other innovative idea.
In Short I don't think you need to worry, the more the merrier !!!!!

it will reach saturation point when there is too much supply and not enough demand. Either you will see the numbers drop or the escorts lower their prices or more extreme requests catered to etc.
