You would have thought those presenters would have done some basic research,typical americans living in an american bubble,that guy should have told them that in some parts of N.Ireland you can use euros and £ sterling,that would have really confused them!!!!

I suppose this raises a much broader issue about the quality of media, to be fair to the Irish and broader European media
while u might not always agree with their approach on certain issues the presenters of particularly current affairs programmes
are always well informed and on top of their brief as regards interviews etc
If any Irish TV presenter carried out an interview like that they would never again appear on TV but i suppose it just shows
how insular parts of the US media are and they really dont think a world exists outside of the US.
If an Irish person did it we would talk forever about the embarassment they were to our country
