My Heart goes out to a girl in a situation like that. Strange country .... Doesn't know the language and she cannot even take a booking for herself. If she is just starting off it must be a very frightening and daunting experience. She cannot even sus out a caller to see if he is an ok client. Hopefully she has people around her who will look out for her and teach her some english.

i think escorting in ireland has come to a strange place when we hoping that escorts have pimps. An it obvious that lady tony spoke 2 does. wud it be better 4 these ladies 2 work in a country where they can understand the language an tell there clients. no thats not available. no u need 2 wash better an other basics like that.
there will soon be the usual extra chrismas rush of more of these ladies doing 50-60euro meets. im not saying they not entitled 2 work here but can they be at all happy about it. an how does it reflect on irish clients an the industry here. shudnt that be the starting point 4 the discussion. not i hope she has a pimp. im sure most posters wud walk away from any1 who seemed unhappy an report it but discussion on the board does seem limited imo.

Thanks for that reply. I do know of girls who came to Ireland to begin escorting and they stayed with friends (other escorts) from home for the first few weeks etc. You are correct when you refer to girls being unable to discuss the details of a booking because they dont speak the language. I guess some are so desperate to make money that they jump on a plane and hope for the best. Thats very far from ideal as you say. It is important for clients to be able to spot the signs and report trafficking and cohesion if they spot it. These new laws will put an end to any prospect of that happening.

That's why a small group of escorts sharing an apartment/flat/house is a great idea, if one can speak semi-decent English she can keep the others on track.

The more this business is brought out from the shadows, the safer it is for everyone.
