    Default Christmas: Flavours and Traditions

A bit early to talk about Christmas don't you think? But I do love the magic of it and yesterday I baked my traditional Christmas cake and puddings, with the smell of spices and baking throughout the house it always reminds me of when I was a kid.
With all the different nationalities and traditions on EI. I was wondering what do you love at Christmas... will you miss anything if you're here in Ireland and/or what do you have at Christmas that would be traditional or "special..
    Happy Sunday everyone..

I love the build up to Christmas more than the actual day. Everything is cold and dark, but illuminated by these beautiful, colourful lights everywhere. The bustle, the music, the food! Most people in good spirits. Love it.

The week between Christmas and New Year feels a little bit like purgatory, though. It's the come down, and the great realisation that you've spent and eaten too much!

The Christmas lights are already going up and the cards have been in the shops for weeks. It's pretty difficult to avoid it, fella!

Shame that it's all packaging and little for them to play with
