If they do make men who visit independent escorts "criminals".. Well, I'm curious as to what sort of penalties/punishments will be dished out to these "criminals"?

I used to value my vote. I haven't voted in the past couple of years. I don't think I will ever vote again. I don't even know how to put my feelings into words about the whole situation.

I read the newspaper articles, I read the threads on this site, I watched the news, I heard Robinson, Ruane.

Sometimes I have difficulty putting my thoughts into words. But this pretty much summed it all up...

The issues here go much further, and are more important, than escorting and sex-work. One does wonder what they will try to outlaw next.
The more moderate journalists and papers are ranting about the situation just as much as us.
But what can they (or us) do about it?
It is a moral crusade. The Catholic Church is just as narrow-minded as the Free-Presbyterians, they are just more subtle. From gay-rights to reproductive-rights to the right to spend Sunday as you please and so on, they try to keep this part of the world in the dark ages.
They can agree on things that are none of their business, but cannot agree on the things that politically are their business.
And the normal, reasonably broad-minded, reasonably intelligent population are helpless while these bigots tell us, and enforce on us, what they decide is good for us.

It will make little difference tbh. People will always find a way to do something that they like. There are lots of things illegal in this country that people continue to do. People will be cautious at the start but after a while will just continue on again. Some will get caught, some wont. Simple as that really.

If there was, perhaps the cops and politicians, (and the gutter press) would take more action against the individuals who are driving around the country stealing anything not nailed down (and prising loose anything that is nailed down and stealing it).
