  1. Default Candles in hotels

Often think about lighting some candles when I work from a hotel to add a little more atmosphere but will it set off the smoke alarm? And would it be allowed?

Better not to chance it Pia, fake candles would be better and a lot safer. Not worth the chance of the smoke alarm going off.

Candles certainly do add to the athmosphere.

they don't like kettles either. i know a guy who burnt his foot bad when he walked
into his travel kettle left on floor. common sense.

As Warmcome replied previous, it gonna cause this so smoking alarm and when they come in and smell candles instead of a cigarett, then you have delivered your self..so better not. Battery candles would properbly do..!

When I toured, I always used candles. Candles totally chill me out, I love them. I never had any problems with them but when you blow them out, just make sure you fan the air to break up the smoke. Honestly, I have never had any problems and very often, my clients comment on the relaxing, calm and warm atmosphere x
