If it's a straight up comparison, then escorts win hands down, in my opinion.
You can simply pick up the phone and arrange to meet the woman of your dreams for the price of a messy night out on the town, which unfortunately would usually include getting shot down by several average looking women, which of course doesn't do the ol' ego any favours.
It's obviously different if you are on holiday or away on a city break, but I personally find Dublin a very hard place to pull women and I don't think that the quality is too great here either (but that's a touchy subject that I don't want to get into right now).
So thumbs up for escorts, thumbs down for bars & clubs.

It's funny that we call this thing we're doing 'the game', the more I think about it the more I'm convinced the other thing would be more appropriately known as the game. Seeing escorts has had nothing but a positive and settling effect on me whereas I can't say the same about all my various relationships/dalliances/one night stands etc. I do sometimes wonder if it's right that it affects me in such a positive light. Is it weird that that crosses my mind?

Residual Catholic guilt maybe ...
