Default How much do you spend on your hobby ?

In a recent post Johnny simpleton posted how much he had recently spent on his hobby and seemed to compare it to buying a car.

What do you go without to enjoy your hobby. Do you wish you had spent it on something else... Car, holiday, ...

Someone's elses mentioned that over the years they have spent enough to buy an Aston Martin.

Obviously some members whith hundreds of reviews spend quite of bit.

Would you say this is the most expensive hobby you have ?

Obviously each hobby/habit can become quite expensive

Eg for golf it is golf membership, green fees, travel. Similiarly those who follow sports can spend quite a bit going to away games, tickets etc.

Alcohol and cigs can also be quite expensive as mentioned earlier.

How much have you spent to date, or per year on your hobby.

What's the most you have spent with one person.

(Hate to imagine what it might be for someone into financial domination)

Do you think it is important to budget, or do you spend on the spur of the moment. Does it takeaway from the fun if you "budget" or do you enjoy it more when it is planned.

After 30+ years , it's not quantifiable . But I'm still smiling and as happy as a pig in shit.

Once all other life expenses are covered , who cares .

I've probably spent more on other hobbies though

    4x180 a month is 720 x12= 8640
Throw in a few Duos plus taxis plus gifts and the odd 200 euro visit
and I reckon it's just over 10 grand a year.
I can afford it and it's 200 a week on average, and I have spent that
on a date and gone home alone and masterbated, so it's all relative.
A lot cheaper than a wife , that I can guarantee you
I am who I am and I am happy with who I am.

spend around 2-3 grand a year i would say.
Its only a small portion of my salary so doesn't restrict me buying other stuff.
I am also up about 2 grand from betting this year so far so it's just like spending my winnings on escorts

Here you are again with all the questions. The thesis not finished yet?

Before you reply, accusing me of bullying you...why do you never provide any personal answers to your myriad questions to set the ball rolling?

At least there's no poll attached to this one!

Finally, I'm obviously not the only one whose wary of you as the poor response to your earlier fishing trips have shown.
