    Talking Plane vs boat

Was looking at some holidays this morning and i've heard a lot of great stories about cruises ... but.. and this is a HUGE but... i have a terrible fear of boats...so definitely would choose to fly for a couple of hours and get to some sunny beach... still would be nice to see several places along a cruise...
So would you prefer flying or would you prefer to surf the waves ....?

Plane wins. Cruise ships are so big you dont realise your on water... but dear God they are monotonous..

Would love to try a cruise. Spent a week on a small schooner sailing around the coast of Turkey, loved every minute of it.
Saw old Roman ruins, some scuba diving, swimming etc etc, worth doing.
Spent a week on a yacht in the Galapagos Islands scuba diving, walking the islands swimming on the beaches with the seals.
all I can say heaven on earth.
If you love the water, cruise holiday, esp if you have,nt been on one.
My parents did and they thought it great.
    Hope that helps

I would love to try a cruise but once I made a travel from Ibiza to Barcelona, the journey was 8 hours and I felt dizzy for the all journey, not my cup of tea and the idea of staying indoors ,doesn't float my boat.
    Retired for good all together.
Thank you all the gentlemen I met, who I'll have sweet memories of it.
Kids, don't do anything that I wouldn't after I'm gone( the good part?) not much left Loll

Cruises are great! they cater for young and old and have plenty going on to occupy your time- they cater for fitness fanatic to those who want to lounge around and eat all day! Every day a new port and new places to explore - there ate usually 3 or 4 restaurants and a casino and disco and a west end type show every night - so what do you want from you holiday- so I've heard - never been on a cruise
