Hair regrowth varies from person to person. I've never noticed any thickening of growth or quickening of regrowth after shaving. Waxing and epilators can have a dramatic effect on some people in that repeated use kills off a lot of the follicles and yet can have the opposite effect on others. I assume it comes down to genetics. Also it's very possible to have a completely bald chest but still have a few straggling hairs around the nipples.

Personally I dislike body hair, especially under arms and downstairs.

i wax because i have alot more hair on the left side of my chest than the right and looks funny.
using veet around the nipples can be tough, you have to smother them with the stuff and may have to go 2 or 3 times at it.

I just trim down below, i do not shave my chest at all, some girls actually like a guy with a hairy chest.
