This is an odd question and I'm not sure I understand it. So your saying that if you choose to see an Irish lady then your put off by her Irish accent?

Ah I see, ok I read that wrong! Ok in which case then yes, I can see why someone would feel like they had been drawn in by false pretences and so therefor be annoyed about it. If it annoys them that much though, they should walk away.

I've been asked if I'm Irish on the phone, so I have! Makes me laugh, so it does, because I have a very English accent, so I do!

I had a laugh on many ocassions, when asked on the phone, if I am Irish. I am not and I never advertised to be any other nationality than Polish. However, since I've learned English here in NI, so it could happen, I'd put some wee accent now and then, here and there.

The only question I struggle with is: 'Are you local?' I'd answer: 'I dunno mate, if that counts, but I've been living here for 8 years already.'
