The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own.
    No apologies or excuses.
No one to lean on, rely on, or blame.
The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it.
This is the day your life really begins! (Bob Moawad)

Hesitancy is good. Its respectful, builds the climax, gives you time to explore a person...

because if one was to analyse every single word in literature or frame in film and try to understand why that particular word or frame is there, the reader or viewer loses out on the emotional side of things. People make mistakes when reading joyce for instance and trying to decode what he is saying, rather than actually enjoying reading his prose. Or people try to understand malick and what he is trying to say. One must not try to understand art, but just allow it to effect you.

no offense Kate, but if you were to nit pick every word in poetry, it would lose its appeal.

"Oh my captain my captain......" what does that mean within the context of the poem????? I dont know, but it sounds good (to me anyway)

edit: this is partly why i did a poor leaving cert, because i refused to study what i didnt enjoy. for instance in english i wouldnt read the books or plays that i didnt derive pleasure from.....
