So I ended up with two (out of four) off school today; they're fine, no temperature just streaming colds, aches and pains. Maybe a bit of an odd definition of "fine" but no sign of tonsillitis so far, so that's good!

My missus' trip out for the day got cancelled late last night. I'm quite superstitious, and it's all put the wind up me a bit. Shit like this happens for a reason. Or maybe I'm not as clever as I think, and I got rumbled

It seems from your post that this was a near escape for you and that it is difficult to find the time / excuse to go ahead with an appointment. Karma?

Maybe a lucky escape? Or a nod to what's really valuable in your life and what you might be jeopardising for a couple of hours of 'fun'. If you think that's the case, why not use the money to treat the family over the weekend or get a sexy gift for your partner?

Alternatively, you might not believe in happenstance or infidelity. If so, then just reschedule an appointment and go see a beautiful woman!

Either plan should relieve the stress from your week of nursing the family.....
