One Escort working alone who is independent is totally legal as long as she/he does not advertise sexual services.
Agencys confuse me.

although youre right calling josephine out re legalities and passing on info as if its law when its not, kate yo ure also missing the soliciting in a public place thing which is very different to soliciting Id say.

It is not illegal at the moment to book an Escort regardless of if she works Independently or in a brothel or for an Agency. The difference is that the latter two are illegal to run and it is illegal to work for the establishments, so you can get embroiled in the legalities of the establishment, although you yourself are not doing anything illegal.

It is also not illegal to advertise sexual services, as long as you do not state that you are paying for them. You are paying for the time and companionship, as this would be classed as soliciting. However, it is not illegal to sell sex!

I know Kate. However, I'd rather try and avoid getting myself embroiled in the legalities of the establishment should it actually be a brothel and the boys in blue arrive in. I may not be doing anything illegal but as I'm there I could see things getting messy, especially if it went to court.
