i dont deny that. My point is that if you had diabetes which is as serious or pneumonia, there isnt as much stigma associated with those diseases. HIV has an added fear borne out of it by its symbol in western society and also because you can be infected.

There is no doubt people can live a relatively "normal" life with HIV, and drugs are improving, but they have to work with this every day and it effects many decisions they have to make
Diabetes is not good and tends to reduce life range, I would not class as serious as HIV though, I do think many people areva little complacent in relation to HIV

HIV is actually quite difficult to catch , but when some other factors are involved like other STDs or the other person has been recently infected and has a massive viral load it becomes easier to transmit
