Honey - have you been to Sweden? I have friends who work there - and whatever rationale seem to think that girls will be able to put up their prices. Lol - forget about it. Clients will leave, but not girls so there will be a smaller pool of clients to compete for. It really pisses me off when people think it will be better. It won't be. It will be awful. It's stigmatised now - it will get a lot worse if the new law gets introduced.

So far as I am concerned, I do hope they criminalise the whole practice. I fully understand their rationale : if they are not getting any sex at home or if the sex is crap and / or are too tight or anal to seek it elsewhere, why the hell should anyone else have a good time?

I have my few private numbers saved in my phone and am sure that I can go off the grid and still be more than alright. It is probably the same for most on here. But if one is coming afresh to the game, then it may well become very difficult. And as for the girls, the numbers working will reduce sharply and the prices will increase exponentially! The established girls (and guys!) will have their regulars and will get a higher fee for seeing fewer clients.

So (almost) everyone wins!

The big losers will be sex workers who will have their mobile phone numbers subsumed by the state (safety issue) who will along with clients be criminalised at child molester level for downloading any escort related site, who will be forced out of rented accommodation on to the streets because landlords and hotels will be prosecuted for living off immoral earnings for renting rooms to sex workers! But vastly more significantly, psychotic clients will form a higher proportion of still active clients, nasty pimps will become prominent and traffickers where they exist at all will force enslaved sex workers to engage in riskier activites!
Winners will be TORLER groups who will get increased funding as a result!
If you believe any sex worker or client or any decent human being will benefit from this, you are a top class fool!

I hear agin Frances Fitzgerald talking about instituting legislation that makes it a criminal offence for (mostly) men buying the services of escorts. Mooted are a €1,000 fine for first offence. Minister Fitzgerald is watching what is happening in Scandanavia where this model exists

So question. Will this put men off dealing with the amazing ladies on this site?

Me? No.

They cant even control their bowel movements this gov. This if it does come in will take a long time imo. Most of your willies will be gone flacid by then.

Me? No.

will not stop all men, will stop some of them maybe. Many guys will prefer to visit the regular ladies they use to visit as they will feel safer known the lady and her way to work rather then go to someone where they dont know how many girls can be there and if apartment can be watched I was working in Stockholm and got many calls incalls and many outcalls as guys felt safer in them house rather to go out to the girl , still many came incall . So even the law there was in a place for long long time guys still visit girls. guess and here will be same...

How would they prove the offence ? you could bring a few tools and say you were the plumber fixing the heating !!! Tools could be a loose term here.

In Stocholm its seems that police working in this way. they get an information at x adress is a working girl. they will stay watching outside leave u to go to the girl and when u leave the apartment they will stop you. was happened with a big prosecutor who visited a girl and someone gave information to police. they waited for him outside and then everybody found out included his wife .
