Default Issues of privacy, respect and consent.

Seriously lads (and girls) people here as, elsewhere, need to give some thought and consideration to the concepts of privacy, respect and consent and what is or is not acceptable.

If one takes nude or personal photos of oneself and posts or publishes them on this site or indeed on the internet generally and / or allow or permit them to be posted or published, that is a personal choice for them. The subject consents to it. Even then one is still entitled to be treated with respect and not be subjected to bullying and cruel comments.

People on here, men and women, with consent and agreement, take and post photos and that is fine.

But take Jennifer Laurence, for example. Her representatives now advise that those photos were private and personal and were hacked and stolen. In those circumstances, they ought not to have been posted in my humble opinion.

Just think about this for a minute. What would happen if a client filmed or recorded a girl or a meeting secretly and posted it? Either or both would be gravely wrong and show serious lack of respect and breach of trust and privacy. And similarly what if girls here secretly recorded meetings (and posted them on the comedy channel obviously!), that too would be equally worrying.

So everyone, have a thought and a care.......
