    Former taioseach albert reynolds has died. Probably best rememberd for his role in the peace process. Rip.

    Yes he will be remembered mostly for making the Peace Process one of his main priorities,,,,, RIP Albert Reynolds

    A true statesman, gentleman, and peacemaker. Had the pleasure of meeting him a good few times re my work, and always had time for a chat and a laugh. Had the ability to make you feel good about things and a truly positive attitude. Its a pity there aren't more like him in government today. The bank deal I assure you would have been a lot better for the country, and Angela would have met her match. RIP

    Bit sickening hearing some of the people on the radio today saying what a great man he was when twenty years ago these same people were on the radio saying what terrible man he was.

    Some people have no shame. All politicians are looking for the populist praise etc etc... Great guy, but I stabbed him in the back when it came to presidential election. Biggest hypocrite has to be Bertie.
