A very good and very honest article. Probably the greatest problem for sex workers is the stigma attached. Apparently providing pleasure for money is unacceptable, particularly to many feminists and religionists. Yet many sex workers feel positively empowered by their work and most are there entirely through choice.

As evidenced in the article, the financial rewards can be considerable, infinitely more than minimum wage work or living on benefits. Sex work most certainly isn't for everyone, but sex workers should have the same choices, rights and legal protections as any other area of employment.

In these two cases you have people faced with a dilemma, but neither of them were actually on the streets, which also shows that you don't have to have reached rock bottom to choose sex work and some people choose it not to avoid eviction, but to reach goals that normally would be totally unobtainable to most sections of society. Goals such as owning your house out right before the age of 30 and enjoying a life that is champagne rich, reveling in exclusive fashion brands and staying in top hotels etc. It can open doors for people in many different ways and on many different levels. The common denominator is that it enriches and provides, where other opportunities can not and if the person can put a line in the sand and feel happy with their decision, then as long as the person stays within their boundaries at all times; how can that be a bad thing?
