Thankfully, I haven’t had one since my mid to late 30’s maybe as I started mine around 10 years old and thankfully over the menopause too now. Absolute bloody heaven so no moody cow here pulling her hair out, just calm, tranquil and a positive nature out to enjoy life for all its other wonders.

I have to agree I did squirm when I read the OP as I know it is not something women like to talk about to men.

Having said that, Periods are a natural part of a woman's life, something us lads don't have to endure. It is something very personal to the woman and can cause her personality to change slightly. I had a friend in college who would always tell me when she was on her period — purely so I would know she would be in bad form and liable to take my head off!

I would not be at all put off if I woman began talking about her periods — they are a fact of life and nothing to be embarrassed about.
