Default Irish Times columnist today, on a very surprising office employee activity

It might be difficult for small companies to organise but realistically, for a lot of employees, how much of the working day is frittered away on Facebook, checking out escort agencies or sports results, gossiping at the coffee machine or nipping out for a fag break?

I thought it extraordinary how casually she just drops that in there. Surely not at all so common a thing as that?

    http://www.thejournal.ie/leinster-ho...12234-Oct2013/

Details of blocked websites, released through a Freedom of Information request from this website, include a number of escort and ‘hook-up’ sites.
Though some 3,062 blocked attempts were recorded from 17 May to 13 September 2013, 62 per cent of these were found to be related to spyware, malware or viruses.
    ‘Local hook-ups’

Analysis of the remaining sites, revealed attempts were made to access a number of Irish escort websites including escort-ireland.com, as well as sites aimed at finding “local hook-ups in your area”.

Im sure this was in the interests of research for the Dail Committee hearings. You cant seriously be suggesting that a public representative would engage in a legal act ?
