Thread: Home sickness....

  1. Default Home sickness....

Just started a new job and spending my first few nights in Dublin. I've always had family or friends around when I moved before so this is a new experience for me and I think I'm experiencing home sickness. For some reason escorts came into my head and how, despite the glamorous image, it must actually be tough to be always on the move and spending a lot of time alone. I'm sure that most ladies enjoy the lifestyle and travel that it brings but there must also be times when you just miss family and friends.

    Hopefully it gets easier

been there myself years ago but surely all you young people have phones and the internet which allows instant chat & webcams etc - so it must be easier for you - now not having the local language could cause problems
    Seek and you shall find!

That's true about technology but sitting in a hotel room (I'm still looking for accommodation as I only got notice about my job last week) is still very lonely. The funny thing is that even when I was living in my home town I mightn't see some family & friends for days at a time but when that opportunity is taken away it's quite unsettling.

And with the way I'm feeling if I start looking at escort profiles now I'll be broke by Friday when I go back home for the weekend! 4 lonely nights could cost a lot

I travel a lot , and people envy this , say its a great life. The reality ? Its tough , lonely , and every hotel room is the same as the last when you use them as much as I do , the buzz goes very quickly , the same with flying all the time.

But I keep myself as close to home through the news , Skype , and the Rte Player etc.

It's the time your on your own is the time you have to break that feeling of homesickness. Keep occupied , and try to as much as normal if you were home.

Your work week is your work week , the weekend wherever you are plan it to go somewhere , do something , explore Dublin do the Viking Splash tour or any of them , you will see places you will maybe want to go back to.

And when you go home you will have lots to talk about and will enjoy that time home even more.

Remember visiting an escort who had her laptop on ( in full view of the bed ) and she was typing away madly on it when I came out of the shower. I said 'whats going on ' and she replied that she was just 'chatting ' to her family .. hmmmmmmm !

Agree with you there. I'm hoping once I get out of a hotel and in to a proper house I'll have some opportunities to get out and about a bit more.

I need to teach my parents how to use Skype when I go home this weekend!

You will get the routine going , and the weekends home will be the things to aim for. And you have also a beautiful selection of amazing ladies to in Dublin , another reason it's a great city.
