This happened to me, its the same guy. He chatted with me by email and text for a good few weeks then I arranged to meet him, At the time I was looking for an appartment in Dublin, he said he had a place available and the general idea was that he was going to scratch my back and i would scratch his. I met with him at his place, ormanstown road in Dublin, his carer left and I gave him a 2 hour appointment. He said he ran a pub and that his manager was on his way to pay me, he never showed. He was so convincing because I actually heard him have a conversation with his so called manager.
Anyway I couldnt wait any longer so I decided to leave and collect the money the next day, He gave me keys to an apartment and an address of an apartment so I assumed all was ok. Then the next day when I was supposed to meet him at the apartment in Dublin he made excuses, It turned out that the keys he gave me was a spare set to an old apartment. I chased him for my money for weeks with promises that he was going to pay it into my bank account, alas this never happened.
I was so stupid but he really was very convincing, How stupid can this man be, I even went to his home address, jesus I could quite easily get someone to go around and "have a word" but how can you when hes in a wheelchair.
