I wasnt going to post what happened in Kerry, but if it can keep other escorts from the same trouble, I hope this info will help you. I stayed in Kerry in a hotel and they left me alone for a few days (because they love the money!) but they were watching my room and did talk to the other hotels about this new escort in town. One day, they did ask me to check out, not mentioning they knew my job, but said hotel was completely full. I found this suspicious as they had always found a room for me every night, no matter how many tour busses and tour groups were staying in hotel, they did always have a room for me every night. So I moved to a holiday home, but got very mean looks from people in stores I went into, bars I went for a tea inside, and I was very suspicious as to why I got mean looks, when I am a very nice polite lady. At 8am, one morning, I washed my hair, put a towel on my head, put a bathrobe on, and just got out of shower, when the window downstairs was forced open and 3 men crawled in window and searched my apartment. They said they were police and they opened my computer to find my naked photos, saw I had 2 phones, opened up closets and drawers and did search entire apartment without showing a search warrent. They told me they knew what I worked at and had evidence of it (but of course they showed me no eveidence, and certainly I was alone with no clients, or proof that I work) they said all hotels in kerry know to look for escorts and report them. They told me to leave Kerry, and by my own choice (since I have had too much drama and stress from first - being harrassed by a person on this E-I board, and then 2nd - feeling a town has painted me red and asked me to leave), I did fly back to my own country, where I do not deal with such meaningless drama.
I did ask questions to police and they answered some. They did say that hotels and holiday homes in Kerry all talk to each other, and if they suspect an escort, they tell police. The police in Kerry are extremely intollerant of escorts and they will not show proof of her working, search warrent, evidence of any kind, and they feel they are above Irish law, and do just what they feel like. I would not recommend any girl to go to Kerry, as they have said to me, this is their mission to clean up kerry of the sex industry. Even a sex shop owner I spoke with said they are always harassing him, and accusing him of running more then sex shop. He only has a very tiny shop with very limited toys and magazines, and yet they harass him, because he deals with sex products.
The police did tell me even if a girl sets up in her own apartment, they are always undercover and just call her phone number, make appointment, find the apartment, and she is ran out of town straight away. This is the case for any nationality of girl, even if she is irish, English or EU citizen, they will harass her, without showing search warrent or proof of her working as an escort. As it was in my case, I had been extremely harassed by a member of this E-I board, and had fallen very scared and nervous, and had taken 1 1/2 weeks off working, and not seen any clients for that entire 1 1/2 weeks. The Kerry police accused me of working as an escort, yet I had not worked for 1 1/2 weeks! They did not need proof to tell me to leave kerry. They did not need papers to force entry to my apartment and search my computer and phones. They are above the law, and above evidence, and are primarly bullies with badges in a small irish county.
I would not recommend Kerry. The clients are very nice, and I do regret leaving so many regulars I gained there, but the hassle from police is extreme and all hotels and holiday homes are watching, spying, and talking to police, and the police have an extreme goal of clearing Kerry of all escorts, whether they are agency or independant. I think to go to Cork or Limerick is safer, and the Kerry men can travel to you if they want to meet you. As it is, I may return to Kerry, but will not advertise, and will only tell those I have met before that I am in their area. I do not wish the hassle of police on myself again ever.
