I would recommend you stay in Kirchenalle which is an area opposite the main train station (Hautbanhof) in Hamburg. There are plenty of old style street girls and pubs/brothels around here, about 2/3 blocks worth and plenty of hotels.

It is within walking distance of the main city centre just over the river on the opposite side of the station.

Obviously it is also within easy access of the trams which will have you out in St Pauli at the Reeperbahn in next to no time. I kid you not when I say you will be fighting them off out here. Have a good walk around first before commiting because invariably there will be something better around the corner.

I would always recommend a bit of Reconnaisance before getting your lad out. Prices are reasonable but make sure you ask first as they will fleece you if they can, thankfully its not rampant though.
