apart from the fact that i do not condone the gardai's actions in raiding this so called brothel, and i commend the judge on his sentencing of the accused, but can someone tell me how the three girls in question were allowed stay in the country????
don't get me wrong - if they want to stay and be escorts thats fine - but there's people from other countries been deported from this country for a lot less - and they haven't committed any crimes or broke the law!
they can't have work permits as they're from brazil and columbia so they must be here on on holiday or student visas which must be now be invalid as they've committed a criminal offence!

I think gooner's point is that although the judge imposed a 4 month sentence he did suspend it, in other words he just gave them a slap on the hand and don't do it again, now if they're silly enough to get caught again, well......
