Hotmail Problems

Hi,

It has come to my attention that Hotmail users are currently often not getting activation emails etc from this site, because Hotmail is marking them as Spam. We are working to resolve this issue with Hotmail curently. If you have been affected by this issue, try logging in even though you haven't got an activation email. Because I know people are having problems with this, I've manually activated most of the accounts pending activation where the users email address is @hotmail.

First of all you are totally correct (Why am I not surprised about that?) :-)

Anyway, the reason the reviews at hand are down is that they are of ladies who have contacted us and asked us to remove all reviews of them and not allow punters to review them in future. Only 15 ladies have ever asked us to do this (out of over 500 that we've had on our books since we started out doing reviews). I guess the reason you've been hit by this a few times is that you are a very active reviewer / bad luck.

We would certainly never let ladies pick and choose what reviews they will accept and what reviews they will not, but we do currently let ladies totally opt of of the reviews system, if this is what they ask of us, because we feel it is only fair to do this for a variety of reasons. Looking at the 15 ladies we have opted out of reviews currently, I can only see one there who I suspect maybe opted out because she got a few bad reports. With the others, all of their reviews seem pretty good. Brilliant mind that you have, I'm sure you can probably even recall that the reviews of yours that you are talking about here are not 'bad' reviews so to speak.

I don't want to get into talking about any individual lady that might have opted out of having reviews, but I know a few have done it recently as they have felt it draws too much attention to them at a time when there are quite a few dodgy characters about. If you can imagine, detailed reviews are great for punters, but they aren't always so welcome for the ladies... Some escorts end up feeling their reviews are giving too much away about them, e.g. where they are based, what ours they work, how popular they are, how much money they are making. We definately have had at least a couple of girls lately who got all good reviews and then suddenly phoned us asking us to take these down ASAP as they were being targetted by criminals who had gone to this website, read all their reviews, then decided "Hey, she must be making a fortune as everybody loves her etc... I think it is time I paid her a visit"

I feel like I'm rambling now, but I'm just trying to explain and it is all a bit complicated. Please get back to me with your thoughts as your views are valued highly here. I'm not at the moment comfortable with not letting escorts opt out of reviews totally if that is what they want, because of some of the points I've mentioned, but I am very open minded to other people's opinions on this and making changes if they make sense.

Also, just one more quick idea, would it be better to instead of suspending the reviews of lady's that have opted out of reviews system, publish them as reviews of annoymous escorts type thing... Is that pointless or is it a way of keeping some content that is going to waste currently, which many punters may enjoy reading just to get a feel of punting in Ireland etc?
