Er, weeellll..Considering General Franco threw thousands of innocent women and children to their deaths in a kind of Sunday ritual, who would you have gone with?

"The Gallant moors although they wreaked my body only yesterday
, today deserve the graditude of my soul,
for they are fighting for spain against the spainards...
    I mean the bad spainards...
because they are giving their lives in defence of spain's sacred religion, as is proved by their attending field mass,
    escorting the caudillo,
and pinning holy medallions and sacred hearts to their burnooses"

Nice. You are an intelligent troll, if nothing else. Didn't Shakespeare do a little thing on the Moors? Othello, maybe?

No matter. I went to the place in Santander where General Franco liked to fling his victims over the cliff. No, I wouldn't like to have died there, so I would have been whatever they wanted me to be

Seems a trip to the bookstore is on the cards for me in the morning then.

    Sounds interesting.

Spainish proverb - History is a common meadow in which everyone can make way.

History is usually written by the the winners, but in the case of the spainish civil war it has been mostly written by the losers,

What would become of Spain if the Franco had not acted in 1936?

Very little would have been different. A few less dead people.

What would become of China without communism? Would the Chinese like to find out? Who knows, they aren't allowed to give is an opinion. Curious, that.
