    Oh what a night!!!!!!!!!!!

    Liverpool lose to Northampton at Anfield 4 - 2 on penalties

    Chelsea lose to Newcastle at Stamford Bridge 4 - 3

    And the great Manchester City lose 2 - 1 to West Brom

    Fantastic ain't it..i wonder what the odds would have been on those results...looks like it will be an arsenal-man u final me thinks....

    Shay Given had a good game apparently, one of the only pluses for Man City. Reckon Mancini will be gone by Christmas myself

    i hate liverpool i really do...had to say it cause im happy and sad...i hate pool but dont enjoy how far they are falling

    Doesn't really matter what Hodgson or Ferguson does, both clubs needs new owners, that is much more needed for both clubs, way above how any clubs does in the Carling Cup. Yes, our second string got shafted by a team from the lower half of the 4th division in the UK. But whether we won or not, we will still need to get our owners out, much more needed than winning tonight.

    Oh and I will drink, the evening started so great and ended with another kick in the balls for a Liverpool fan. Ah well. Onwards and upwards.

    Just out of curiosity what are the odd's the Mancini will go, but, Martin O'Neil will take over Man City??? :-)
