Question Taking care of your appearance

Gents, As the issues of looks and hygiene are being addressed I'm wondering how important these things are to you?

Would you use any sort of cosmetics to clear bad skin?
Do you bother cleaning your ears?
Do you brush twice a day?
Do you think floss is something you get in the fair?
Have you ever bothered to get the hard skin from your feet?
Would you trim your nose hair?

Or is this all too much like hard work?

Maybe I should have started with - do you wash?! But I'll give the benefit of the doubt on this one. I live in hope

Good post! I do all the above (and more) simply because that is me. However, I am surprised you make no mention of the gents taking care of their hands, using handcream to keep them soft and ensuring fingernails are white and trimmed. For alot of the ladies, it is often the first thing they will notice. If anything, it is the hands that will be groping, touching and caressing the whole of your body.

    Regards.

yes to most of those questions Alex. Only brush the hair once a day - don't have much left so I'm minding it.
I don't floss either - but between washing my teeth twice a day and using Listerine i don't think there would be any problems there either.

Yes nails! There is nothing worse than seeing dirt under fingernails and long pointy nails on a man.
Then they expect to put their fingers in all sorts of places! I think not!

    Thanks for answering x

Many men do manual labour so soft hands and manicured nails are out of the question. Imagine a builder with fairy-soft hands: They'd be torn to bits! I considered this before I posted lol. I should have added cleaning fingernails too but this was overlooked as to me it fell into the 'I'm assuming you do actually wash' category.

As there have only been two answers so far, that says a lot in itself.

A nailbrush in the bathroom and some gloves come in handy lol.

It's terrible that anybody would even try to put filthy claws in such a sensitive place but it happens. Shame.

The short answer would be yes to most of the above. I wouldn't use cosmetics to clear any bad skin, as I generally get reactions to them. Generally shower twice a day anyway, due to work.

    Yes.
    Yes.
    Yes, or more.
No, but I don't floss. I always brush my teeth and use mouthwash before an appointment - and don't smoke in between.
    Yes.
    Yes.
I do clean my nails and keep them short.
And I'm still an unattractive Irishman. Nothing to be done about that!
