Like the Rose of Tralee, does EOTM have anything to offer any more?
It was fun at first but has since long expired its sell by date.

A bit like the Oscars, those that win it are delighted and those that dont, claim they dont care (Oh but they do!)

Its not even really the "best escort", rather just the escort with the most good reviews, and as reviewing an escort is so random (Its rare for an escort to see 3 clients a day and get a single review,, let alone 3)

Its just so completely arbitrary and has nothing to do with being the best, more to do with getting a small pool of reviewing punters exhausted from their exertions, to log on and go through some strange tick box homework.
Theres no lapdance contest, no swimwear contest, no plea for world peace or offering an opinion on brexit using only a sex toy, body paint, rubber gloves,wet wipes and an ABBA cd

In my day, young aspiring EOTM's would spend hours in front of the mirror, honing their skills using a hairbrush. But now, its just become a gentle parody of its former self

So, should it be scrapped, kept as is or rebooted?

EOTM rewards those that consistently do well, but only for those that see a lot of new clients and fairly high volume. It does not reward those that aim to keep their clients and see the same clients on a regular basis. Admittedly this may change with the fact that clients can now review more than once to the same sex worker, but in my experience with another site that has always done this you may get a new review periodically, but not with every visit, as it becomes tedious and unnecessary to repeat what has already been said.

The fact that so many clients don't use the forum or choose to review (which is understandable in the North) it does make it a little bit of a Ireland game now and not something all can be involved with.

Maybe it would be nicer to have something like a 'Sex Worker' of the week award like a 'spotlight' where the spotlight is given them for whatever reason (I have no idea what that might be). Maybe for helping someone who was in trouble or for guidance. Supportive with where to stay or a place to stay if someone is kicked out of their hotel. Kindness could be the goal instead of numbers through the door

I've heard some lovely stories about sex workers on this site that have helped others out and that never gets rewarded. Even clients could nominate sex workers for something like that. Maybe they would need to have 3 nominations to qualify or something.

You might think that it's a crap idea, but it's got so dog eat dog recently. You never know, it might encourage people to be a bit nicer to each other?
