Checking dodgy profiles just got a lot easier
New extension from Google allows you to right-click on an image and search the web for similar images.

Of course, the site's insistence on disabling right clicks on images (despite my offering of an alternative) will scupper this...

It seems to be another version of Tineye. Please note that the Tineye rules apply to this system too and that we will still require links to the actual profiles from where the photos are taken from, not a .jpg image URL or a list of results from this, but thank you for the information.

Just to add that the reason we disable right-click links is to prevent people from stealing the images (or at least make it harder for them to do it).

Wonder if the Google database will be bigger than Tineye's ? ( Tineye's is huge but still misses some stuff- with google spiders crawling the web perhaps it'll be more comprehensive)
Some of the B&S girls (here in US) have copped on to the Tineye trap & purposefully steal 'clean' pics..so every additional resource is welcome!

Google's image cache is orders of magnitude larger that Tineye's (which actually relies in a large part on Google's). More importantly though, Google's distributed processing power is orders of magnitude ahead of everyone else's on the internet combined.
