Default Almost a perfect murderer book

I'm sure everyone remember as it wasn't long ago, just finished this book the other day, pretty disturbing, and quiet detailed.

Maybe I'm way to naive but never imagined anyone can have such a fetish.

Book itself was only average for me, felt like Gardai paid form someone to emphasize their good work.

    Anyone read it maybe?

Haven't read it but I will read it.
From what I recall from the time he was caught due to a mixture of luck and good work from one single gard.

I'm not a fan of the author and I think your correct in your conclusions about the Gardai and how wonderful they are potrayed!

I just felt so sad after reading it for Elaine O'Hara and her family.
Tbh I wouldn't normally read such a book, but my bf's dad got it from the author so found it at home, I wanted to get back to the habit of reading, and it was a fairly easy read

I myself was following in Independent too alright, Gardai did a good job, but gwan that's what they are paid for right??!!

But these are different. You can read the books as the author points out without reading the chapters on the murders and dismemberment as I recall. I read them a long time ago but I'm sure I'm correct.
anything about motives or understanding better what's in such a persons mind?

That's what I'm rather interested in than excellent Gardai investigation, or details of a lengthy trial.

zodiac by robert graysmith is very good. the startling thing about the zodiac killer is that his identity is still unknown

Paul Williams is notable for his sycophantic approach to the gardai, believes they can do no wrong and that the sun shines brightly from their arses. Also he may be the man that has profited most from crime in this country.
Personally I believe once these scumbags get sent down for a long stretch they should be forgotten about and the families of the victims should be left alone by the media.
