Thread: Sex trafficing in Ireland.

  1. Default Sex trafficing in Ireland.

After reading in the paper on Sunday, it seems it's rife in Ireland.

I've only been with an escort once and that was years ago now.

I want to go again but how do I know when I ring some girl up, that she's not actually one of these girls I've been reading about?? I've read some reviews on here from lads and they say that sometimes you don't even speak to the escort herself

Has this happened to anyone on here??

How do I know that the girl isn't actually one of these poor girls?

I honestly think thats a load of rubbish! I'm sure there may be some trafficking but clearly that isn't the norm. You will note that a very high proportion of escorts on this site are independants i.e. they work for themselves - no pimps, dealers or traffickers.

I can only speak for the girls I've met - all have chosen to do this of their own free will. They aren't managed by anyone. Many tour the country, or come to work for a few weeks to months at a time. Clearly if they were trafficked, they wouldn't be able to come and go as they please.

Don't get me wrong, I am not undermining the seriousness of human trafficking. I am just saying I don't think it applies at all to anyone advertising on this site. And I certainly don't think its of the scale made out to be by the said papers and TV programmes (that love sensationalizing everything). I am also concerned that there is a vested interest among certain groups (social, political & religious) to taint anything to do with the sex industry with the same brush as the human trafficking industry.

I have yet to come across any woman that I've meet through this site who I felt were pressurised into the job, the vast majority are happy, friendly girls living their own lifes. Some don't talk much, not through fear but simply English is not their first language. If everyone visited the independant girls the market for human trafficking (which I think most of us on here would agree is abhorent) would decline
Come in she said "I'll give you shelter from the storm "

not significant in the sex industry. i'm led to believe it
exists for the purposes of cheap labour (1 case is unacceptable).
well paid officials should be tackling this problem.

i've visited a lot of escorts and i've never seen any evidence of
    them working against their will.

Every broadsheet newspaper turns into The Sun when it comes to prostitution.

They will print anything no matter how ludicrous and transparent it is.

And it's those typs of lies and sensationalising that cause people to not understand or see the actual abuses in prostitution.
