Differences between rates for half an hour and an hour.

Sorry this isn't meant to be another thread about rates. Escorts charge what they like and people will be either willing to pay or not as with the nature of any free market.

I just have a question around them which I find strange. I've noticed that lets say a girl charges 80 for a half hour that often they charge 200 for a full hour. Do girls prefer quick appointments and so try to push them with the nature of charging? I mean would I rather see a girl twice for a half an hour at a time for 160 or pay 200 to see the girl once for an hour? Save 40 and get to see the girl twice, seems like a no brainer. It just seems a strange charging policy and if anything I would have thought the hour would be less to entice the client to stay for longer. Anyone shed some light please?

Say that you see a lady for half an hour — arrive, go through the formalities, undress, shower..... that's 10 minutes gone Then there is the getting dressed before you leave and lets say you don't take a second shower that's in or around another 5 minutes so you have spent 15 minutes having fun!

You return and do the same so in all you spent 30, maybe 35 minutes having fun.

If you book for the hour and go through the same procedure you get to have 45 minutes uninterrupted fun! Not sure about the "no brainer" bit.

I can completely see the benefits to a longer appointment. Equally though I could say I get to have fun on two days rather than one and maybe even with two different girls. Most of the better girls I have visited would also make a lot of your points about time moot as would have no rush in the shorter period. I'm sorry but if a girl is charging 80 for half an hour I would find it very hard to put up essentially 120 for the next half an hour. It makes very little business sense IMO from an escorts pov in that they encourage shorter appointments which means more clients, more getting ready time, etc.

This is something that I have not encountered TBH. I am not saying it does not happen but all the ladies I have visited don't seem to operate this way. Having said that I never go for half an hour anyway — totally impersonal and rushed IMO Even 2 hours with a lovely lady can fly by in the blink of an eye.

I've just noticed it quite a bit lately. It's funny but before when rates were generally 100 across the board it used to be the other way around with the hour generally being 180. I liked the look of a particular girl tonight who I wanted to spend an hour with but exactly the situation as in the op. It's more that the whole thing makes very little sense to me.

It's like the dinner date scenario.Say it costs €700 for a 3 hour dinner date with your favorite lady.So you make a dinner
reservation in a decent but discreet restaurant. Preferably somewhere where the chances of meeting someone you know are virtually impossible.Throw in an extra ton for a meal for two,nice bottle of wine and a gift for the lady.I'm probably being conservative in my €800 estimation that the night is going to cost.
Why not visit the escort for an hour and stay for 2 additional hours of fun for €600 without the hassle of dressing to impress

I think you are somewhat comparing apples and oranges in that scenario. If you wanted to spend those three hours in the bedroom you're paying the same per hour than you would for a first hour which makes sense. Dinner date is a completely alien scenario to what I'm talking about.

Probably because once you lot pay for an hour, you try to push it to an hour and a half, so this is preempted in the extended price

I think what some people forget or perhaps don't realise when they just go for a 30 minute booking is that there is so much more to visiting an escort than just jumping onto a bed with them for a quick fumble and wham bam thank you ma'am!

There is no fixed formula, we all work and charge to what suits us. Some may prefer shorter bookings while others will prefer longer bookings. It's really up to the individual and what works for them.
