i stopped going out about 6 months ago,
when i did, i'd go to the busiest bar around 10pm-no crowd yet.
10:40pm, you might notice the place filling up. i asked my mate who works
on the door about it. he said that they drink at home all evening
and then descend on the town in a cab. recession strategy?
is it like this around your way?

Yeah, used to be that you had to go out at eight or half-eight to get a seat in a pub (because if there's one thing I loathe, it's fucking standing room only), but now nobody bothers going out until nine-thirty at least. It must be a recession thing, that and the price of a pint going up all the fucking time.
