    Smile Christmas Day Films

Which film is your favourite film to be shown on Christmas Day?
When I was growing up there was alays an action film of some sort on. The likes of Indiana Jones, Star Wars, James Bond. Theres nothing as good shown these days.
Help Keyla in her fight with cancer. Every little helps.
It could happen to any of us.

The Wizard of Oz, if you look closely you can see Liz in one of her early role's, well her legs anyway just before they curl up under the house LOL

IT HAS TO BE "ITS A WONDERFUL LIFE" ........... AHHHHHHHHH

Every time you hear a bell ring an angel gets his wings..........

Strangely enough i do believe the Angel in the movie is called
Clarence - mmmmmm Aunty must have seen this film.....

There is another that makes me ball my eyes out about a wee
dog called bOBBY thats master dies and is burried and he sits on
his grave never leaving his side every night -
Set in Glasgow and a true story......... its a real tear jerker.

If you haven't seen that one - i dont care how old or young you
are that will have your wailing with tears, thats at least a 10 tissue
    film.........minimum "Greyfriar's Bobby"........

    the childrens version that is

it was always the fave for granny, shergar and i, we knew every word and sang at the top of our voices.

lizbet was usually away counting her chocolate money and sulking for getting caught sticking her fingers in grannys loverly pavlova. but that would be telling

lizbet alway wanted to be the child catcher when we were all acting it out, she was just SO good at it. TSK TSK

When I was a chick it was the great escape with Steve McQueen although it wasn’t so much entertainment for us chickens, more an a to z of breakout techniques. We took in every detail from hiding the soil in their trouser legs [which presented us with a few problems I admit] to forging false SS travel documents with nothing but a pink crayon[which as it turned out was not valid on bus eireann after 1980 who knew!?!?] so we ended up back where we started, but we live an learn and tunnels Tom Dick and Harry are nearing completion for this years mass breakout.
