You only realised the likes of scrubs and Two and a half men arent comedy? what gave it away, the fact the arent funny.?
You cant beat the British and Irish humour in comedy shows. They are timeless and dont rely on bright sets and lots of props. They are intelligent mascarading as fools and are utter brilliant

For me it would have to be another Fawlty Towers episode.

I do the don't mention the war bit all the time when I'm drunk.
It's even worse if there happens to be Germans around. I have a couple of German mates and they don't find it as funny as I do, granted they've probably seen me do it a fair few times!

Older than you but my favs are - two and a half men, goodnight sweetheart, blackadder, the big ban theory - for great comedy films you cannot beat anything by Lemmon or Matthau.

The big bang theory is the best out of a bad bunch....scrubs stopped being funny after the third season but i would agree that irish and english comedy is far superior than over the water.I reguard father ted as the greatest show of any format to come out of this country.I would watch it over again and again...it never gets old.
